Twisted Times

Matt Drudge is reporting that Roll Call magazine is outing the LA Times on their polling methods. The Times poll, the subject of Ronald Brownstein's June 10th column, claims that Kerry is leading Bush by 7 points nationwide. What the Times doesn't mention is that their poll consisted of 38% Democrat voters versus 25% Republican voters. While this spread in registrations might be acceptable in California, where the Dems hold an advantage that's about that large, it's not realistic in a nationwide poll. Mickey Kaus was the first to notice a problem that same day.
